At INLIBRIUM, Lauren works alongside the program’s physicians on screening and medication review, holding each client’s health history, medications, current symptoms, labs, and, where relevant, brain imaging together as one picture rather than as separate tracks of care. During the residencies she is one of the psychedelic medicine co-facilitators, present in the sessions with attention to the physical and psychiatric signals that may need recognition or response.

Lauren’s path ran from psychopathology to family practice to integrative psychiatry. In more than a decade of clinical work she has treated patients across family medicine, functional internal medicine, pain and regenerative medicine, and mental health, so the medical and the mental-health sides of a client’s care stay with one clinician instead of being referred out.

Years of hands-on ketamine care have given her something trial data alone cannot: a working sense of how people actually respond to a medicine that alters consciousness, before, during, and in the weeks after. That experience is what she brings into the room.

Years of reading functional brain scans have taught her to look for contributing factors that a standard interview can miss, from past head injuries and toxic exposures to hormonal, metabolic, and gut-health patterns. Alongside that clinical lens she works with the body directly, through somatic movement, Reiki, and sound-based therapy.

Lauren’s clinical perspective is deliberately integrative but not indiscriminate. She uses assessment, history, and body-based awareness to clarify what deserves attention, while resisting the idea that any one scan, symptom cluster, or intervention can explain the whole person. For clients, that means a steadier clinical thread, one that makes room for complexity without making more of the evidence than it can support.
